Designs from the heart is a not for profit organization dedicated to creating “dream rooms” for children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses. Our first project was at Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital where we transformed the stark white walls of the 5th floor Chemotherapy treatment room into an underwater adventure. Families will be referred to us by the Hospital and we will transform their bedrooms into creative, fun but tranquil environments that will encourage physical and emotional healing through art.
Any donation, large or small is greatly appreciated. We need donations of supplies, services (printing) and monetary donations. Mural Artists are central to our projects as well. Due to the nature of the work, each project has a separate budget, as we will not know the individual needs until the family is referred by the hospital. We can accept donations on a per-project basis or larger donations that can be used for multiple projects.
All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We invite you to join in our vision of encouraging physical and emotional healing through art. |
